Repairing putty for mineral and wood surfaces. Easy to apply, with excellent adhesion on wet surfaces. It has high plasticity and transpiration, and after drying it can be sanded, pigmented with Mixol or apply other finishing products on it.
DESCRIPTION AND MAIN USE: FAKOLITH FK-13 N is a filling compound for repair work, with a pure acrylates base that is highly resistant to damp. Easy to apply and offering excellent adhesion on damp surfaces, this filler has great plasticity, a high level of breathability and, once set, is suitable for sanding down and having other products applied onto it. For the repair of cavities in mineral and wooden bases, both interior and exterior.
HOW TO APPLY: Carefully protect all surfaces that are not to be treated from splashing. The surface must be consistent, clean, free of hygroscopic salts, micro-organisms, dust, mould-release agents, paints or any other substance that might affect adherence. Application at temperatures of 5ºC or above. We recommend that the base be previously damped down with water, any cracks, fissures or cavities abundantly filled, applying the FAKOLITH FK-13 N with a scraper or trowel and without oxide, pressing down to eliminate any air that may be trapped. After a few minutes have passed, and when the filler starts to contract, pass a water-soaked sponge over the surface to eliminate any excess product then apply the type of finishing required. Standard colour is off-white, although it can be pigmented using Mixol. Immediately after application clean the utensils with water and soap, before the filler can set. For further details consult the specifications sheet and/or application guidelines, along with the safety sheet.
AVERAGE CONSUMPTION: Consumption of FK-13 N is variable, depending on needs.
