Bonding bridge mortar with high adhesion especially on EPS expanded polystyrene bases, extruded XPS and difficult mineral bases. Provides a bonding layer for application on top of other elite finishing mortars.
DESCRIPTION: Plastering mortar and bonding bridge with cement, special resins, fibers, limestone aggregates of controlled particle size and additives, which give it excellent workability and high adhesion on EPS, XPS and mineral bases.
MAIN USE: Especially recommended for use in professional theming, in rehabilitation works or as a primer in general and mineral bonding bridge of high adhesion especially on expanded polystyrene surfaces (EPS) or extruded (XPS) and similar, also on other mineral bases if it is deemed necessary to use a highly adherent mineral primer and with suitable texture to receive on the surface of another type of Elite mortar as a final finish,
WAY OF APPLICATION: Protect well all surfaces that should not be treated or splashed. The support must be clean. Mix with water, starting from 5.5 liters of water per 25 Kg bag until a suitable consistency is achieved in each case, soft-fluid depending on the method of application, especially when applied with a spraying machine. A mechanical kneading of the mixture is recommended until a homogeneous paste without lumps is obtained. Its application can be manual, by means of trowel, being more recommendable its projection by means of portable machines, type plastering machines of stucco of "four jets", or of mortar projection, "plastering machines". As a minimum thickness, we recommend at least 5-8 mm, guaranteeing in any case the adhesion of the subsequent finishing layer. Its surface finish will also depend on the final finish or thickness desired with the finishing mortar and its needs. It can be regularized with a trowel, combed with a notched trowel, or left as it is after the projection if the desired thickness is equal or greater than 2 cm.
MINIMUM THICKNESS FOR PRIMING: Minimum primer 0.5mm thick when it should be regularized with a trowel or notched trowel to receive a subsequent thickness with the finishing mortar of less than 2 cm. Primer over 1 cm when it is not necessary to trowel it afterwards leaving it with the texture of application, when the subsequent thickness of the finishing mortar is over 2 cm.
CONSUMPTION - AVERAGE YIELD: Approx. 12-13 Kg/m² of mortar per 1cm of thickness. Yield 2m²/sack and cm thickness.
Sacks of 25 Kg
