KIT FK-45 PLASTER FoodGrade

DESCRIPTION: The FK-45 Plaster FoodGrade KIT is an epoxy putty kit composed of FK-45 FoodGrade colorless epoxy varnish (A+B) + component C as a special food volumetric thickener, to make a repairing and levelling putty for surfaces, suitable for direct and indirect contact with food and beverages.

MAIN USE: Ideal for the repair and surface levelling of fissures, cracks, crazing, joints between tiles, etc. on mineral surfaces of floors, ceilings, walls, floors, tanks, etc.

APPLICATION: Applicable from 10ºC and maximum 75% relative humidity. Protect well all surfaces that should not be applied. The substrate must be consistent, clean, free of hygroscopic salts, microorganisms, dust, release agents, paint in bad condition or any other substance that may affect its adhesion. If necessary, consolidate the base beforehand.

Once the correct mixture of components A and B of FK-45 FoodGrade Colorless has been made in the largest bucket, slowly add component C "Food Thickener" and slowly stir until obtaining a mass viscosity that adjusts to your needs, and apply with a spatula, trowel, etc. The pot-life is equivalent to that of FK-45 FoodGrade, so after mixing you will have a maximum of 20-25 minutes for application. The application tools should be cleaned with solvent before curing. After its complete drying and curing, if necessary, it can be painted over.

AVERAGE CONSUMPTION: Its consumption will vary according to the viscosity obtained in each case when mixing its three components A+B+C, and may range between 8,5-9Kg/m2 in one centimeter of thickness.
