PROPERTIES: DISPERLITH Hygienic is the first ecological paint to be awarded European Union Ecolabel Certification, Reg. No. ES-CAT/044/001, in accordance with the new, and demanding, Ecolabel criteria, regarding water-based dispersion paints formulated with vinyl acetate and ethylene modified copolymers, low emissions and low odour (zero-zero Voc), free of APEO, ammonium, formaldehyde and heavy metals, for interior use. DISPERLITH Hygienic forms a well-balanced film of paint that is easy to apply, quick drying, with low odour that provides an excellent finish, in line with the DIN EN 13300 Standard, wet scrub resistance Class 2 (>260 ml/m²), covering Class 1, with a high level of water vapour transpiration, Class 1 (SD = 0.03), and water permeability, Class 1 (W = 0.9). Paint resistant to the most disinfectant cleaners according to Tests DIN EN ISO 4628-2: 2004-01 by TÜV SÜD Germany and/or Fakolith R&D+i (For more security, before use, ask your case to our Tech. Good adhesion, particularly on mineral or painted surfaces. It could be applied at temperatures of 5ºC or over, up to a maximum relative humidity of 75%. Available in white and other colours.
BIOFILMSTOP SANITARY TECHNOLOGY (Treated Article BPR Art.3): DISPERLITH Hygienic is an intelligent sanitary paint, treated with BioFilmStop Inhibition Technology, highly resistant to biofilm and bacteria, ISO 22196:2011 (Escherichia coli, Listeria monocytogenes, Bacillus subtillis, Pseudonomas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella enteritidis, Legionella pneumophila...). The paints of the DISPERLITH range positively contribute to compliance with (EC) 852/2004, are manufactured subject to HACCP and GMP (EC) 2023/2006, also notably improving HACCP, food safety and asepsis for the user company. RECOMMENDED USE: DISPERLITH Hygienic is recommended as an interior finish paint for domestic interiors, particularly for walls and ceilings, both dry and in conventional damp or humid environments, such as bathrooms and kitchens, whether new or in the process of renovation and restoration, can be used on practically any kind of dry, cured and consistent surface (plasterboard, plaster, previously painted surfaces, texturglas, etc.). For construction and civil engineering works, and communal areas in the food industry, health sector, public sector, or the pharmaceuticals and cosmetics industry in general.
HOW TO APPLY: Carefully protect all surfaces that are not to be treated from splashing. Application can take place at ambient and surface temperatures as low as 5ºC. DISPERLITH Hygienic should be applied undiluted in two coats using brushes, rollers or airless spray guns. The surface must be clean, free of hygroscopic salts, microorganisms, etc. and, should such be required, must be duly primed. Do not apply the second until the first coat has lost its wet sheen and is dry to the touch (in normal conditions, of around 20ºC with a humidity of around 60%, this will be in approx. 2-3 hours). AVERAGE YIELD: DISPERLITH Hygienic has a yield of approx. 4-5 m²/l, applied in two hands although this can vary considerably, depending on how it is applied and the texture and absorption of the surface.
